West Sumatra Earthquake: Padang Wrecked
September 30th 2009 in the afternoon, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake jolted coastal areas of West Sumatra, Indonesia. City of Padang is located just 45 Kilometers south-east from the epicenter. Thousands of buildings were collapsed and damaged, death toll in Padang reaches the number of 313 and estimated increase as more dead victims are still trapped inside ruined buildings.
Nusaba Gumang: Hill of Gods
Held every two years in October, situated on "Gumang" Hill, Karangasem, Bali. The Hindu-Balinese ceremony called "Nusaba Gumang", where thousand of people from villages of Ngis, Jasi, Bebandem and Bugbug which is located under the hill, flock into the temple area on top of the hill.
