Dirty Work

Dirty work is an on going long term personal project about Jakarta's suburban low cost workers on how they struggle to continue their life. Indonesia as the largest development archipelago country, the unbalance work fields in most of the regions trigger thousands of villagers across the island moving to Jakarta, they seeks and gambles for better life. Instead of what they expects, most of them turn as illegal comers who works as low cost labors. Jakarta as a major city still a dreamed place for most of villagers out side. These series documenting the porters who works and lives in Jakarta's oldest port, Sunda Kelapa Harbor.
